Wallpaper pictures of the "Me Ship, The Olive" children's play area in the "Toon Lagoon" section of Islands of Adventure in Universal Orlando - presented in 4:3 regular and 16:10 widescreen formats!
In theme parks today, it's becoming standard practice to have at least one playground for the kids to let off some steam while their parents can get some much needed rest. In Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando, the 'playgrounds' scattered throughout the parks are highly themed play areas entertaining enough for the parents to want to join their children. "Me Ship, The Olive" is an original part of the Islands of Adventure theme park.
Set on the edge of the watery "Toon Lagoon" area of Universal's Islands of Adventure is a three-story ship, almost as if it was just sailed there by Popeye the Sailor Man himself.
The ship itself is fairly basic and doesn't offer a whole lot of activities for the children. Apart from the slide, a few interactive items, and lots of stairs to climb, this is one of the more basic play areas. However, just because it's fairly simple doesn't mean that the area is any less entertaining. For starters, the ship itself is a major scenery item for the "Popeye & Bluto Bilge-Rat Barges" raft ride that encircles the area. The nautical theming is there, of course, and the references to the Popeye cartoons are ever present. On top of everything, the views from the top of the ship are pretty good. Not great, but good.
"Me Ship, The Olive" is commonly an overlooked part of Islands of Adventure. Even during the busy season, few people walk along the sidewalks and paths surrounding the ship, making this one of the more quiet areas of the park.
When it's the heat of the day and lines are at their longest, stop by "Me Ship, The Olive" and explore this quiet part of "Toon Lagoon."

The regular 4:3 pictures all have a resolution of 1600x1200 (960x1280 for vertical pictures), unless it's otherwise noted. They can also easily fit monitor resolutions of 1280x960 or even 2133x1600 without needing any special modifications. Just select the image and have Windows stretch and fit it to the other 4:3 resolution.
The widescreen 16:10 pictures all have a resolution of 1440x900, unless it's otherwise noted. They can also easily fit a resolution of 2560x1600 without needing any special modifications. Just select the image and have Windows stretch and fit it to the other 16:10 resolution.
Warning - There will be some slight variations between the regular and widescreen pictures!
To help save bandwidth for the other visitors, please open each picture only once. If you like it, save it to your hard drive.
