Wallpaper pictures of the "Marvel Super Hero Island" area of Islands of Adventure in Universal Orlando - presented in 4:3 regular and 16:10 widescreen formats! It's big and bad. You can't miss it. Once you leave "Port of Entry" and turn left at the Inland Sea, "Marvel Super Hero Island" jumps to life right in front of your eyes. Then again, a few of the signature rides can be seen and heard well outside of the park, too. "Marvel Super Hero Island" literally looks like it came to life right out of the comics of the same name. This is a world protected by the super heroes as they battle against the villains who want to rule it with an iron fist. The rock music background music is loud. The colors are bright and vibrant. The rides are intense. "The Incredible Hulk" coaster sends its trains of victims roaring through the island over and under the pathway, making the people scream like crazy as it never seems to end. "Doctor Doom's Fearfall" launches people high into the sky in a terrifying experiment by Victor Von Doom to extract people's fear and use it to conquer the world."The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man" uses an incredible array of technology and is one of the greatest dark rides / thrill rides still today as people ride along with Spider-Man himself and battle Doctor Octopus and his evil gang on, underneath and high above the streets of New York City. And added in the Summer of 2000, "Storm Force Accelatron" is a "spinning tea cups" ride on steroids as Storm battles against Magneto. By no surprise, "Marvel Super Hero Island" is often the busiest "island" in the theme park, attracting the park guests early and keeping them captive throughout the day. Enjoy it first thing in the morning and again at night. The area looks outstanding at night and the lines for the rides are usually significantly shorter. The battle between the Marvel and DC comic book heroes will never end, but for general comic book fans and thrill ride lovers, "Marvel Super Hero Island" is a winner in the theme park universe.
