Wallpaper pictures of the innovative "Camp Jurassic" playground in the "Jurassic Park" area of Islands of Adventure in Universal Orlando - presented in 4:3 regular and 16:10 widescreen formats!

Located between the Discovery Center and "Toon Lagoon" entrance to "Jurassic Park," "Camp Jurassic" is an elaborate and highly themed play area with scenes from the first Jurassic Park movie.  Here, you'll find everything from waterfalls to tunnels to squirt guns to a giant net climb to the popular "Pteranodon Flyers" ride.

"Camp Jurassic" is Universal's equivalent to "The Boneyard" in Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Instead of digging for dinosaurs in Disney's Animal Kingdom, "Camp Jurassic" acts as if the dinosaurs have been brought back to life like in Jurassic Park.

Several scenes from the first movie have been brought back to life in this play area.  Once you make your ways past the waterfalls, you could find yourself going through tunnels and seeing part of the amber mines like the ones that Mr. Hammond used to find the fossilized mosquitoes in the movie.  Or if you wander around the paths, you'll go through simulated electric fences and be in the raptor pit.  Instead of the deadly dinosaurs, you can man a water gun and shoot streams of water up at people on the guard tower.  But watch out as they'll be shooting water back at you!

"Camp Jurassic" is a perfect place for kids to run around and let off some steam.  The stairs, tunnels, slides, exotic paths and other surprises will keep both parents and children entertained for a while.  "Camp Jurassic" tends to be busier in the early afternoons after people have already made a lap or two around the park.

If you have kids or just love the Jurassic Park movies and lots of tropical theming, be sure to stop by "Camp Jurassic" during your visit to Islands of Adventure.  The area is usually empty in the mornings and prior to park closing.

WARNING - There are a lot of paths and tunnels in "Camp Jurassic."  It can be easy for parents and kids unfamiliar with the layout to become lost or turned around.  Take note that the only entrance and exit to the area is under the Stegosaurus skeleton and "Camp Jurassic" sign.

The regular 4:3 pictures all have a resolution of 1600x1200 (960x1280 for vertical pictures), unless it's otherwise noted.  They can also easily fit monitor resolutions of 1280x960 or even 2133x1600 without needing any special modifications.  Just select the image and have Windows stretch and fit it to the other 4:3 resolution.

The widescreen 16:10 pictures all have a resolution of 1440x900, unless it's otherwise noted.  They can also easily fit a resolution of 2560x1600 without needing any special modifications.  Just select the image and have Windows stretch and fit it to the other 16:10 resolution.

Warning - There will be some slight variations between the regular and widescreen pictures!

To help save bandwidth for the other visitors, please open each picture only once. If you like it, save it to your hard drive. You can also right click on the link and select "save as" instead of manually loading each picture.
