Wallpaper pictures of the brand new Kidani Village for Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas at Walt Disney World - presented in both 4:3 regular and 16:10 widescreen formats!

Opening to the general public in 2009, the Kidani Village at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge houses the Animal Kingdom Villas and is one of the two latest additions to the popular and still growing Disney Vacation Club (DVC).

The Kidani Village itself is a new building added to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge much like the new Bay Lake Tower addition to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  In this case, the Kidani Village and Jambo House (the main resort buidling for Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge) share part of the African Savannah and are connected by a long walkway.  Otherwise, the new Kidani Village is essentially its own resort complete with separate shopping and dining options as well as its own well-themed swimming pool and water playground.

The theming inside of the new addition is the same excellent African theming that we all know and love at the Jambo House.  The colors are bright and vivid, there is the spirit and feeling of being on safari somewhere in equatorial Africa, and of course, the animals are frequently wandering throughout the Savannah area.  This DVC resort definitely has the spirit of adventure with all of today's luxuries and conveniences.

One of the unique features of staying at the Kidani Village is that there are parking spots available under the main building.  Instead of parking in massive parking lots and taking ten minutes to walk from the car to the room, this DVC resort does offer limited parking in a deck underneath the building.  The covered parking spots are accessible by elevators and divided into four sections named after characters from Disney's hit animated film, The Lion King.

It's easy to get to the Kidani Village from the Jambo House.

You can either hop on a bus and take a short trip to the building, or you could walk out the front door and take the path over to the new addition.  Take note that walking between the Jambo House and Kidani Village is a good 8-10 minute hike.

Note - Each picture can be opened in one of two styles - regular (4:3 ratio) and widescreen (16:10 ratio). You may download and share these pictures, but please, do not modify or alter them in any way!

The regular 4:3 pictures all have a resolution of 1600x1200 for horizontal pictures (960x1280 for vertical pictures), unless it's otherwise noted.  They can also easily fit monitor resolutions of 1280x960 or even 2133x1600 without needing any special modifications.  Just select the image and have Windows stretch and fit it to the other 4:3 resolutions.

The widescreen 16:10 pictures all have a resolution of 1440x900, unless it's otherwise noted.  They can also easily fit a resolution of 2560x1600 without needing any special modifications.  Just select the image and have Windows stretch and fit it to the other 16:10 resolutions.

Warning - There will be some slight variations between the regular and widescreen pictures!
