Wallpaper pictures of Disney's BoardWalk Resort at Walt Disney World - presented in both 4:3 regular and 16:10 widescreen formats!

Disney's BoardWalk Resort opened in 1996 and is themed to be like one of the many boardwalks that used to be found along the shore in New York and New Jersey back in the 1920s-40s.

Situated across the lake from Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, the entertainment district of Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Disney's BoardWalk Villas is one of the focal points for entertainment and dining in the evenings after the parks close.

With clubs such as "Atlantic Dance Hall" and "Jellyrolls" that cater to the 21 and up crowd, and fun dining experiences such as "Big River Grille & Brewing Works," "Spoodles," "Flying Fish Cafe" and the "ESPN Club," Disney's BoardWalk is a worthy companion to Downtown Disney.

It is easy to get to the BoardWalk area through indirect means, whether it's by walking, boat, or even taking one of many Disney buses.  The resort buses can get you to the BoardWalk from almost anywhere on Disney property, and the water taxi boats can easily transport people to and from the other Epcot resorts as well as from Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Disney's BoardWalk is about a five minute walk out of Epcot's International Gateway, and the walk from Disney's Hollywood Studios typically takes about fifteen to twenty minutes.

The BoardWalk's location is one of its best features.  It is extremely picturesque with its location along Crescent Lake and across the water from Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.  It is also very pleasant taking a stroll along the lake at night during the Summer.  And because it may be discouraging for some people to access, the BoardWalk doesn't tend to be as busy as the Marketplace or West Side at Downtown Disney.

Like visiting Downtown Disney, the BoardWalk area is completely free to visit but some of the clubs may have a cover charge.

Note - Each picture can be opened in one of two styles - regular (4:3 ratio) and widescreen (16:10 ratio). You may download and share these pictures, but please, do not modify or alter them in any way!

The regular 4:3 pictures all have a resolution of 1600x1200 for horizontal pictures (960x1280 for vertical pictures), unless it's otherwise noted.  They can also easily fit monitor resolutions of 1280x960 or even 2133x1600 without needing any special modifications.  Just select the image and have Windows stretch and fit it to the other 4:3 resolutions.

The widescreen 16:10 pictures all have a resolution of 1440x900, unless it's otherwise noted.  They can also easily fit a resolution of 2560x1600 without needing any special modifications.  Just select the image and have Windows stretch and fit it to the other 16:10 resolutions.

Warning - There will be some slight variations between the regular and widescreen pictures!
