Wallpaper
pictures of the brand new Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World - presented
in both 4:3 regular and 16:10 widescreen formats!
Opening
to the general public in August of 2009, the Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is the latest addition to the popular and still growing Disney Vacation Club
(DVC).
The Bay Lake Tower is the place to stay if you're a DVC member and have always wanted that perfect view of the Magic Kingdom, the original Walt Disney World theme park. Getting to the Magic Kingdom is simple and easy whether you take the monorail or walk along the short path, and the views of the park are nearly perfect. If you thought it was neat seeing the park from the top of the Contemporary Resort, the view from the top of the Bay lake Tower is even better. And of course, one of the biggest features of the Bay Lake Tower is the ability to have a perfect, elevated view of the "Wishes!" fireworks show, complete with music from the park flowing through the viewing areas.
Home to 295 rooms, the new Bay Lake Tower is argued to be the grandest and also one of the smallest properties within the Disney Vacation Club membership program, which also makes it more exclusive. Its impressive structure complements the neighboring Contemporary Resort, and a covered walkway (the Sky Way Bridge --- only accessible with a Bay Lake Tower room key) provides easy access between the two resort buildings. The new DVC resort itself sits on the site of the old North Garden Wing rooms of the Contemporary Resort, which were demolished back in 2006 to make way for the new building.
Both the Bay Lake Tower and Contemporary Resort share shops and restaurants, though the Bay Lake Tower has its own exclusive "Top of the World Lounge" with a spectacular view of the entire Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake area, and its own pool with a waterslide, shuffleboard courts, and other various activities.
