Highlights in this World Update include:

• The opening of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

• Opening of Downtown Disney's West Side food and entertainment district. 

• Addition of the "Mulan Parade" at the Disney-MGM Studios.

• Additions of "The Enchanted Tiki Room Under new Management" and Mickey's ToonTown Fair in the Magic Kingdom.

• Ability for guests to purchase special passes to attend the Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights.

• Park hours and ticket prices from June of 1998.
