Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant
(October 2005 - present)
History and photos of the Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant in Pleasure Island at Downtown Disney.
The Pleasure Island Jazz Company closed its doors in late 2004, ending the short-lived era of live jazz music in Pleasure Island.
Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant opened in October of 2005 on the site of the old Pleasure Island Jazz Company. Raglan Road was built on the edge of Pleasure Island and did not require an admission fee like the other night clubs, dance halls and restaurants.
Raglan Road brings Irish cuisine along with famous Irish beers to central Florida. There are four bars throughout Raglan Road, so pick one and enjoy a fresh pint of Guinness. The main restaurant is fairly upscale and offers the finest foods from the Emerald Isles. Next door, Cookes of Dublin is a counter-service restaurant for those looking for a quick bite of Irish food. The Shop for Ireland store offers Irish souvenirs for all ages.
