Opening with the rest of Pleasure Island's clubs and dance halls on May 1, 1989, the Adventurers Club was a unique bar / comedy club themed to safaris and adventures set in the 1930s, specifically 1937.  It's a place where Indiana Jones and classic British adventurers would feel at home, sitting back and telling tales of great suspense and danger.

Outside the Adventurers Club you'll find everything from the wreckage of an airplane to central African artifacts to relics belonging to ancient Egypt.  The entrance sign warns you of the zaniness expected by stating, "Come In a Stranger, Leave a Little Stranger."

The Adventurers Club, along with the remainder of Pleasure Island's clubs and dance halls, closed for good on September 27, 2008.
