Guide map's main theme:  Mardi Gras 2000 celebration

Changes in the guide map include (since the August of 1999 guidemap):

• A new look and feel to the guidemap's cover.

• Information about the new Portofino Bay Hotel and upcoming Hard Rock Hotel (opening December 2000) and Royal Pacific Resort (opening 2002).

• Removal of the "Hercules & Xena: Wizards of the Screen"

• Removal of the "Dynamite Nights Spectacular" night fireworks / stunt show on the lagoon.

• Renaming of the Production section to Production Central.

• Renaming of the Expo Center section to World Expo.
  

• Addition of the new "Men in Black: Alien Attack" ride to the guidemap (opens in April 2000).

• Temporary addition fo the Mardi Gras parade and celebration area.
  

• Temporary changing of "Cafe La Bamba" to "King Jester's" fast food stand for the Mardi Gras celebration.

• Temporary addition of the "Battery Park" fast food stand for the Mardi Gras celebration.

• Temporary addition of the "Slimetime Live" show at "Nickelodeon Studios" soundstage.

• Temporary closing of the "E.T. Adventure" for refurbishment.
