It's the legendary home of the movie industry here in the U.S. If you want to become a movie star, then you've got to go to Hollywood and be discovered.
The Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida is located near the front of the park. After entering the theme park, take your first right and you'll be in Hollywood.
Walking down Rodeo Drive and Hollywood Boulevard in the Hollywood section of the park, you'll see famous Hollywood sights such as the Brown Derby (a hat store here, NOT a restaurant), Schwab's Drug Store and Mel's Drive-In. Other famous sights include part of the Walk of Fame, the Radio Broadcast Center, and a facade of the famous Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Further down Hollywood Boulevard at Sunset Boulevard is a recreation of the famous Garden of Allah Villas.
Since Universal Studios Florida's opening on June 7, 1990, the Hollywood section has seen a couple of upgrades.
The Gory, Gruesome & Grotesque Horror Make-Up Show eventually became re-themed as Universal Orlando's Horror Make-Up Show.
Lucy - A Tribute opened in the mid 1990s and replaced the Silver Screen Collectibles store.
Terminator 2: 3-D attraction opened on April 27, 1996.
