Guide map's main theme: Cinderella Castle - birthday cake edition

Changes in the guide map include (since the June of 1996 edition):

• 25th Anniversary of Walt Disney World with "Remember the Magic" as the theme.

• New look and feel of the guidemap including a special tab at the top with the different dining options, and a colorful, top-down view of the theme park.

• Transformation of Cinderella Castle into a giant birthday cake (including a drawing of it on the guidemap.)

• Changing of the daytime "Mickey Mania" parade into the "Remember the Magic" parade.

• Re-naming and slight re-theming of "Dreamflight" to "Take Flight" in Tomorrowland.

• Addition of "The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacres Farm" in Mickey's Toontown Fair.

• Addition of the "25th Anniversary Welcome Center" on Main Street.
