blank EPCOT - Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow
Opening on October 1, 1982, EPCOT Center was the second theme park to open in Walt Disney World.
EPCOT was originally planned as being a sleek, futuristic town filled with new ideas and concepts for living, working, recreation, and transportation. Those ideas changed and EPCOT evolved into becoming the educational and innovating theme park that we know today. The park is divided into two main sections: Future World and World Showcase. Future World is located at the front of the park and houses all of the big name and popular attractions.
