Changes in the guide map include (since the Summer of 1997 guidemap):

• Brand new format to the guidemap.
  

• Merging of the Disney Village and Pleasure Island into the massive Downtown Disney complex.

• Opening of the West Side area.

• An advertisement for Disney's Boardwalk on the back of the guidemap.

• Changing of "The Village Tower" to the "Captain's Tower."

• Changing of the "Christmas Chalet" shop to "Disney at Home."

• Renaming of "Village Kid's Place" to "Sand Street Station."
