Digital wallpaper pictures of the "ABC Theater" in Echo Lake at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World! When the "ABC Theater" first opened with the rest of the Disney-MGM Studios in 1989 it originally hosted "Superstar Television", a live-action TV stage show that involved audience participation. After running ten years in the theater, "Superstar Television" was changed to "Doug Live!", another audience participation stage show based on the popular Disney cartoon. "Doug Live!" last for just over two years and the theater has been sitting unused since May of 2001. Currently, the Disney Imagineers are hard at work bringing this theater back to life as home to "The American Idol Experience", a Disney version of the popular American Idol show where real park guests can compete and win prizes. The big winner at the end of each day will apparently win a free pass to the front of the line at a real American Idol audition. Click here to see the old version of the "ABC Theater" in widescreen.
NOTE - The last of these photos were taken in July of 2007. The "ABC Theater" has been completely re-themed to American Idol. Check out the widescreen pictures to see how it looks now. (coming soon!)
Note - Each picture can be opened in at least one extra size. You may download and share these desktop wallpaper pictures, but please, do not modify or alter them in any way! These pictures were designed to fit most standard sized monitors. However, just because your specific monitor settings may not be listed doesn't mean that you can't use any of these photos as computer backgrounds. If you have a standard 4:3 monitor, just select the picture size larger than your settings (if possible), and have Windows stretch it to fit the screen. This will shrink the picture and keep it looking sharp instead of stretching and potentially distorting it. Making the vertical pictures fit will take a little extra work, but all you have to do is open it with a paint program (such as MS Paint), and manually resize the picture keeping the same aspect ratio. To help save bandwidth for the other visitors, please open each picture only once. If you like it, save it to your hard drive.
